NOV ’20 UPDATE – Dental Services

We are now in the position to offer non-emergency treatments for Kayr dental patients.
The seven months of care that could not be delivered until now has resulted in a huge backlog of treatment need that will have to be prioritised.
The requirements of social distancing, allowing any mist in the surgery to settle, and the thorough cleaning of surfaces, all takes a significant amount of time.
This means appointments will also need to be distanced, resulting in fewer appointments being available.
Appointments can be arranged by calling the practice.

Our Team

Here at Kayr dental our experienced team have been providing high quality dental care since march 2000.

Kirsteen Henderson

Dentist BDS (Glas)

Kirsteen graduated from Glasgow University in 1988 and worked in Prestwick until March 2000 when the practice was opened at Tam’s Brig. In August 2010 the practice relocated to the current location on New Road.

Cristina Rodriguez

Dentist - LIC Odont. Granada 2005

Christina graduated in 2005.
She worked as a general practitioner and orthodontist in Marbella and Malaga.
She joined Kayr dental in January 2018.

Sharron Welsh

GDC Reg Practice Manager

Sharron has worked alongside Kirsteen since 1995 as both dental nurse and practice manager.
She completed her Childsmile training in 2006.

Amy Livingstone

GDC registered dental nurse

Amy joined Kayr dental in 2003 and completed her dental nurse qualification shortly thereafter. She completed her Childsmile training in 2006.

Sophie Phillips

GDC registered dental nurse.

Sophie qualified in 2018 and we were delighted to welcome her to our team in March 2020.
